First, we have local groups of complementary subject matter experts (SME’s) that meet once a month. We call this “The Local Cabinet.” These meetings are run by a trained Cabinet Chair and focus on sharing best practices, problem solving, and developing sales from member referrals. Membership to a Local Cabinet is by invitation only and meetings are held in a quiet, confidential setting once a month.

The second way The Cabinet bridges the gap between the virtual world and the real world is through quarterly SME calls. Once a quarter, a conference call is held concerning a specific topic. All Online Members and Local Cabinet Members can participate in these calls. The topics discussed can be specific to a particular discipline or they could be general in nature and apply to all independent business people. These calls are a great way to identify other SME’s in your field that could help you down the road. The topics are timely and will be valuable as well.

Finally, The Cabinet Online provides a wide variety of resources, information, white papers, and many other tools that will help you save money, grow sales, and achieve your dreams for your business. Membership to The Cabinet Online is free, as is most content; however, some content is restricted to Local Cabinet Members.

In addition to helping you run your business, The Cabinet Online is the portal of choice for business executives looking for a consultant. Think of this as a lead generator for your business. Our online “Find A Consultant” system will provide your profile to business leaders who are in need of your services, in your geographic area, as you’ve defined it. A CEO can log on, free of charge, and complete a quick questionnaire about the expertise needed and the immediacy of their intent to hire. After the executive has completed the questionnaire, The Cabinet Online will send them an email with a list of consultants who fit the profile they’ve defined. Once the CEO has the consultant’s number, it is up to the consultant to close the deal.
