History of The Cabinet

In January of 2009, the first formal Cabinet was convened. During 2010 local cabinets will be established in major markets accross the United States and globally thereafter.

Since the mid-1990s, a group of consulting leaders and complementary subject matter experts met one another through various global CEO/President leadership conferences and special events.

These leaders would fly in from their respective cities to share business best practices from time to time. They became a close-knit team who referred each other business upon seeing clients’ emergent needs. They also became a valuable confidential forum in which to seek counsel regarding business challenges and opportunities.

In January of 2009, the first formal Cabinet was convened, consisting of key international leaders in their respective

fields, who came together in monthly teleconferences to consider an altogether new consulting model.

In the months to follow, The Cabinet model was conceived, an LLC was formed, and the first Local Cabinet cities and Chairs were selected. In October of 2009, the first Local Cabinet formed and the first meeting was held in Pittsburgh, PA. The second Local Cabinet was launched in Chicago the following month and by year-end 2009, seven more Cabinets had been announced!

Local Cabinets will be established across major markets in North America during 2010 and globally thereafter.
