The key to the Local Cabinet is the Cabinet Chair. The Cabinet Chair is not just a person who runs the Local Cabinet meeting. They are a member, an independent consultant, just like the rest of the members. In addition to running their own business they have accepted the responsibility of organizing and facilitating the monthly meeting, recruiting quality members into the group, arranging for speakers to address The Cabinet, and working with each member to help them get maximum value out of The Cabinet.

Local Cabinet Chair are selected by the Managing Partners of The Cabinet and are specifically trained and mentored to help them be an effective leader who can help the local members achieve their goals.

Chair Criteria:
  • Clear Track Record of Success as an Executive, Consultant or Coach
  • At least 5 years of consulting or executive leadership with a broad network of business relationships
  • Appropriate formal educational training or certifications in their chosen field of expertise
  • Strong leadership and communications skills
  • Unquestioned honesty, integrity, character, and judgment
  • Willing and able to effectively address and resolve conflict
  • Well connected and highly regarded in the marketplace
  • Willing to help members generating leads, develop client referrals, and promote cross-Cabinet sales
  • Willing to abide by and enforce the Cabinet Code of Ethics
